Volunteer

Volunteering is an amazing way to get involved.

We are looking for people who have a genuine interest in assisting people with developmental disabilities, in all aspects of community life.

Here are some of the possibilities for you to volunteer at Community Living Oshawa/Clarington (CLOC):

  • Adult Day Services – There are a number of programs within the Oshawa and Clarington areas.  These programs run on weekdays.
  • Residential Services -Enhance the experience of day to day living in a residential home setting or support someone living on their own.
  • Recreational Support – Provide the opportunity for someone to join in with you in recreational and leisure activities.
  • Special Events – Assist in making CLOC’s events a success.
  • Friendship Program – Provide companionship for someone who has similar interests
  • Committee or Board of Directors – your professional or life experience can assist CLOC through your involvement as a board member or one of our standing committees of the board. (i.e. Finance, Governance, Policy, Planning & Quality Assurance).
