Community Living Oshawa/Clarington has proven expertise matching potential employees with disabilities to local business needs.

Supportive employment enables people to find meaningful and gainful employment. The program matches employee skills with employer needs and offers on the job training at no cost to the employer.

All referrals come from ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program).
Located at:

Whitby, Ontario

Applications are obtained from ODSP directly or from our offices. Once the application for Employment Support is completed it must be returned to the ODSP office.

Once Community Living Oshawa/Clarington is identified as the selected service provider, supports may include:

  • Employment Planning
  • Job Coaching
  • Job Search
  • Specialized Assessments
  • Job Monitoring
  • Unpaid work experiences
  • Job Trials
  • Job Maintenance
  • Travel, route and mobility training ( bus training)
